Eastern Meadowlark Singing

An Eastern Meadowlark at Blue Grass Cemetary in Highland County, VA, was Singing "Spring of the Year" when this picture was taken on 5/23/2007. Notice the wide open bill, which is only opened this wide when singing this song. Other songs are sung with the bill opened about half as much.
