This image was created when morning fog on the Klamath River was penetrated by the rising sunlight. Dew is accented on reeds along the marsh by selective focusing from a close point of view, even though the aperture was set at f/22.
This is a look at the James River from the Floodwall where a railroad bridge crosses. The city skyline is to the north, and a wild island that is home to Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets is the closest land. The main section of the river is on the far side of the island. It is truly a city with a wild river.
