Patterns created by a very high tide at New Topsail Inlet, North Carolina. The names were created from the impression of the images on the artist, and by asking other people what they thought of when they viewed the images. These look especially good in a black metal frame, matted with a white mat with a narrow inner mat of black or dark gray to set the image off. A series of these hanging together makes for a really nice wall. The frame sizes can range from 7x9 to 16x20 or slightly larger, with the appropriately sized print. See the example in the Matted Prints gallery. The two panoramic images, Sand Arch and Sand Wave, will require appropriate panoramic print sizes and frames.
